I see the 3 Mercs as a tactical aspect for competition.

There definitely needs to be a way to see the 3 mercs each of your teammates have selected on the pre-round character selection screen.
I dont think its a massive problem for competition, most teams having almost set classes/characters for each member. However it could make pubs a bit more hit and miss, especially if everyone focus’ on the FOps / Heavy and Engineer (which seems to be the current favourites).
I want a Medic (Sawbonez) with the Fops gun, dont care which of the 3 mercs one, but I overall like this guns most. Hope we are able to “customize” the mercs a bit. But in the current state, the SMGs are weak
and what is if i connect to a pub server and ingame i notice that we havent an engi?!
Haha, this is already true for me, because they have already removed frag (nade) so I am left to playing Fragger most of the time. Now, I have tested the patch yesterday with several characters including Fragger and I must say he has been nerfed again. The only character worth playing now is fops, while the other classes weapons seem to be useless in mid range combat (mind, shotty at close and s-rifle at long still rule). The Fragger has a nice nade still, but his MG is now also useless, in fact worse than medics smg. So go figure. The next (last) patch HAS TO ABSOLUTELY concentrate mostly on weapon balancing. Else the start of CBT will be a disaster.
Regarding what you said about ET/RTCW equal weapons - true but partially. RTCW had no equal weapons - sten, MP40 and Thompson were all different. Sure most classes could carry the same model, but still, just saying for the paper.

I’m talking about when you won’t need to disconnect/reconnect to change characters.
i.e. You can change during warm-up and the existing selection area is either removed or becomes the default selection
And the reason is to ensure that you have the correct team build going forward into the game session.

We dont have anymore nades, and most of the primary weapons feels really bad. (speaking about smg most of the time)
give us nades !
Also please include loadout picks during warmup. I want to see what others plan to use when I make my picks.
Yea I think something like that would work. Like all players get 30s to lock in all their character picks or something.

5 was bad and now 3 is just ridiculous. With 5, you can at least pick any one of the play types / former classes. The main reason I’m for allowing us to choose any of the mercs when we die is because the maps change objective to objective. Narrow corridors to wide open call for different weapons and I would rather not change my class (because, lets be honest, no one is questioning what class each merc is).
Increased head hitbox size by 10%
Increased headshot multiplier to 2.5x
Reduced body-shot damage on nearly all weapons
This separates the elite from the noobs even further. It’s kind of like a solid economy; it does well when there are the most people in the middle. I suggest putting it all back but reducing the creep. Similar effect but still requires a little more skill to get the head.
Increased clip sizes where needed
140 for Fragger MG, no kidding.
Players are no longer slowed when landing from a sprinting jump
Makes the update worth it. Movement is near perfect.

Depends on what merc you’re playing. If you’re running AR you can body shot successfully. SMG past 10 yards, not worth the ammo.
