What’s trainyard? Looks a bit like Camden’s latter stages? Could this be a hint of the map being split? I’ll be honest again… I spawned Camden PAX on one of the match servers and it ended after the 2nd stage. Spoiler? :smiley:

This is a shortened version of Camden being created specifically for PAX. We’re looking to showcase Xt’s stopwatch mode there and Camden proper’s length would result in unnecessary Queue Rage.

Still talking about shrinking maps/durations a bit, PAX demo is a good test of this.

Personally I’m also hoping we can go back to SD’s traditional ‘say what you see’ map names, rather than locations names. Makes it much easier for players to communicate and relate with each other.

I would love to see the later half of Camden remain as a map. As I said to badman, get me out to help you on the floor for the next tradeshow/convention :wink:

PS: Something I allways have to think of, when I see DB’s concept-art(loading screens, etc.) and many times ingame; triangles+yellow,yellow,yellow=Deus Ex:HR:wink: Just between us, your artists are a bit influenced by DE:HR’s style, aren’t they? Overall, it looks totally different though and you guys already know how much I like it.

I am really glad to hear about the maps being made shorter. Our draft lasted over 5 hours the other night and thats only 4 maps being played.

Second match went to 3 maps. Our team won but they was around Less than 5 meters from winning and we kept the EV there for 3 Minutes (London Bridge)

Couldn’t of got even more even than that. Infact, I have never seen a game in ANY game that has been that close before.
