Explosions

I really liked the explosions in Quake 4 (namely the explosion of the Strogg Air Defense cannon the beginning of the game.)

I owuld be very pleased to see similar explosions in ET : QW.

while i can’t say much about the other explosions in general, i was killed by the strogg death ray thing once while playing at qcon. and i have to say i nearly wet myself! it was very impressive, especially since it was right at the beginning of the first match i played. it had great look and feel about it. it certianly struck terror into my heart and made me want to stay away from those in the future.

-edit- heh, i just read redwood’s review over at gdhardware.com, and he said pretty much the same thing

Explosions aren’t done right in PC games very often.
