I know you have been quite handicapped before, but, surely you have noticed that you have the option to have 3… yes that is correct THREE mercs you can rotate right?
If you are still struggling to see the numbers let me do the maths for you.
5 Players on each team can pick 3 mercs EACH.
5 x 3 = 15.

Is it up to you what servers we get to play on? because if you specifically chose EU only that’s pretty stupid, if you want it to be a EU only tournament then make it so, don’t force NA players to play on 200 ping for no reason, that’s just gonna make the whole thing worse than it has to be.

There is always going to be problems with EU vs NA and I think that it’s fine that you only got EU servers. I just think that since you are working directly with nexon to get private servers you had the opportunity to split it 50/50 to allow NA to at least compete in the tournament and play against eachother on low ping even if the rules made it clear that this was primarily a EU tournament and all games between EU and NA had to be played on EU servers(although this is unfair, I have played tournaments hosted by EU and this is how it has to be done or vice versa).
Most online cups are limited to one region. People here really do complain a lot.
I’m looking forward to watching the matches, since it’s too early for me to consider competing myself.

You play on a USE server where both teams has okay ping instead of 1 having 50 and the other having 200+, and i never said you forcing people to play, but right now this is the only cup so every team is going to play in it. also please, there’s no need to flame people giving feedback, we are just trying to get the best cup possible!

If I was awake at a reasonable time to run a NA cup I would, but I am not. Therefore I will be running cups for my timezone on servers near me. Not because I am playing because that is what I want to focus on. If any group or team of people from NA want help running something, I am not unreachable. I am here and anybody can ask for help.
My understanding is that Evac is hosting an EU tournament, in which teams from other regions can also play but under the implicit understanding that they will be playing at a ping disadvantage. This is perfectly legitimate, it’s the most common way to arrange online tournaments, and US players/organizers can do the same with regards to hosting US tournaments.
As for fairness in tournaments explicitly created for the purpose of matching US teams against EU teams, the fairest option is to play 1 map on eu serv (preferably UK) and 1 map us serv (preferably east coast). Both on the same map, with total time from both servers as the tie breaker.
With regards to using USE server as a default, that only gives fair results when the entire US team is west coast and the entire EU team is UK. Compare for example a New York based US team with a Finland based EU team on a USE server, and it will heavily favor the US team.
Evaczone has a majority European user base, where do people really think they would host their tournament?

that’s a terrible analogy, since the spoilt kid already has the present and so it can’t be changed, while this cup hasn’t happened yet and so all rules can be changed, possibly for the better (the reason I’m bringing up the point).
I’ve already said that I’m perfectly happy with playing in this cup even if i don’t agree about all rules (especially since this is a rather minor rule), doesn’t mean I can’t point out that I disagree with it.
