Cool!! but I don’t believe at this story of the beta-key!! is not possible that Activision follows ea method…i mean: we have to pay for testing a beta product!!!
Well, maybe is an exclusive of multiplayer.it…
Have you already pre-ordered??

I’ve also mailed the shop asking more information about this beta-thing!! :?
when they reply me, i will keep posted here…for now: i’m waiting monday to make the payment!!

Afaik, there is NO ACCESS to any beta via pre-order. Any shop that says so tryes to get more sales or might have misunderstood something.

This is called “illicit” here and implies contractual liability and I don’t think multiplayer.it would do or like that (being one of the most serious shop I know).

I think there is a possibility of an “exclusive” obtained by the shop.

I think a snowball might survive in hell too, if being very lucky. Don’t count on it though.

I am sure the shopping manager spoke with Activision one through telephone… I find strange a misunderstanding like that!

I don’t know, I’ve never purchased anything from multiplayer.it but I won’t start now. I’ll just wait a few more days (weeks?) for the collector’s preorder at play.com.

BETA doesn’t mean DEMO (poi c’è scritto “fase BETA” quindi non vi possono essere fraintendimenti!).

Yes, we know that beta doesn’t mean demo, but there is no chance in hell ATV would sign an exclusive with a small italian shop to hand out beta-access. What purpose would it have?

A beta-process is to find bugs, not to allow some people that ordered from a specific shop to get their hands on the game first.

And frankly, if they would select beta-testers via a pre-order-setup in a shop it wouldn’t be located in Italy.

If this would be true it would be a PR-suicide for ATV.
