The official 1y thread says 29th.

Both Fileplanet and Fileshack have 28th as the date, but it’s in the afternoon so it could have been the 29th here then. However, since I think Activision handled the release it was on the 28th from their perspective even if it was the 29th over here. If I remember correctly they (Actv) announced the release as “later today” when it was still 28th over here, and I downloaded it at 09:54 (local time) on the 29th (I had the day off, guess how I spent it  ).

Confused? :blah:

Anyway, here’s to ET:

I did a quick run with qstat (2005-05-28, 19:30 CEST) and it reported:
protocol 82: 123(!) servers
protocol 83: 1767 servers
protocol 84: 1516 servers
This sums up to 3406, which is still impressive.

I guess gamespy does not delete dead IPs.

(But when you ask csports.net or splatterladder.com then they have different numbers too)
