ETQW Tweaker

Hi! i noticed that the Community forums are down, so i created here a thread for my ETQW Tweaker.

If you didnt encounter my tweaker, this is a config-file generator application, which makes config file creation easier. I developed this since the ETQW Beta1, some members may still remember :slight_smile:

And sorry for the messed up site, Google pages was replaced by Google Sites, and this made all of my pages into a mess…working on it.

not really, i updated this really long ago, but i would like to dive in these tweakers again (i have a doom3tweaker, a wolfenstein tweaker, and this)

Skins (color schemes) will be implemented soon…but i want to have some new actual features. so im reinstalling ETQW now and ill search for some more settings which makes your life easier :smiley:

You may want to have a look at the tribal wars forums. It’s a mod that has attracted a lot of Tribes players to ETQW, and they have no clue on how to get a proper config running. I’m sure they’ll appreciate your little app :slight_smile:

thanks for the tip it seems some Tribal Wars settings will be included with the next release of the tweaker (and TW1.1 release) :slight_smile:

Would be great if the foliage in tribal wars can be tweaked a bit more easily, or is that supposed to be done in the devkit?

It depends on if you want official standards or custom standards for that tweak.

Next version (2.0.4) will come soon, it’ll have at least 3 new settings:

-Enable/Disable head motion (bob, etc.)
-Enable/Disable tooltips
-Fast weapon switch

Also the Comboboxes will be updated so its easier to use them.

new version released, its avaliable on megaupload, but i will upload it to google sites, i just have to figure out how to do it. :slight_smile:

changelog:

-New settings: Enable/disable head motion; Enable/disable fast weapon switch (+picture); Enable/disable tooltips (+picture)

-Widescreen and some new 4:3 resolutions are now avaliable in the ‘Screen resolution’ option

-Aspect ratio will correctly apply to the selected resolution when using the ‘Screen resolution’ option

-Added 1280mb, 1536mb and 1792mb to the ‘Video Memory amount’ list.

-ETQWTweaker2 now uses an Updated version of the TweakerCreator (1.0.2.4)
-Comboboxes are not fuctioning like textboxes, so you cant write invalid values (there are some settings like ‘Video Ram amount’, that require the old type of comboboxes, because there you can specify the amount manually.
