Yup, I just read the update from Locki on the official community site.
Holy crap, I’ve got to say that the progress on this beta is faster than I could have imagined. They’ve addressed and tweaked so many things in this game in such little time (the 6-7 weeks that Beta 1’s been out), most of it directly addressing common complaint/suggestions I’ve seen posted on forums.
Looking forward to Beta 2 and to seeing the hard work SD put in for us gamers. You guys rock.

This is excellent news.
According to the info sheet on the community page, they did a ton of work. I can’t wait to test out the new vehichle handling and try to spot all the other improvements they’ve mentioned.
