Actually, people do get crucified for not making deadlines (depending on reason) since when release dates are publically announced, marketing campaigns are planned, retailers get ready, medic coverage is organized, etc. We do a lot of event planning here at work and when you miss dates, a ton of money and good will gets flushed.

Yeah, you’re right… who am I kidding? I’m all over the World of Warcraft devs when they push a patch back.

Its been ~6 months since I stopped playing BF2, it just got irritating and repetitive. So I started playing CS:S, which itself got irritating and even more repetitive. After BF:2 and CS:S i’ve come back to W:ET.

Within my first game I was on top of the server and back to the old days. It now feels like HL2:E2, TF:2, Spore & ET:QW can take the time they need for development. I’m very happy to play W:ET in the mean time.
