Seems to me they posting about a great deal of nothing or the same things over and over.

Also most post are short like “looking good” or “thats nice”.

I like my content and stimulation and that site just aint cutting it atm. :twisted:

My post count there is significantly lower there, well my post rate anyways, because all the posts I saw there, I have asked here. Not to mention I got banned there for talking about warez.

The topic was talking about quake wars playing with no cd in drive. Now everyone says the first patch always is a no cd patch, among other stuff. Some guy said, “there is a no cd patch that you can google for any game”. So my response would be “Isn’t that a crack?” Then I talk about all that warez stuff, and how I never do that warez stuff with id games, and do that warez stuff with EA’s games, in which the usage of that program is “rare”, etc etc blah blah blah. Everyone has done it, especially chinese people like myself. (think chinese video stores).

So let me get this straight. If I say crack, it is warez. If I say "no cd patch (not from official source, and before it is released), then it isn’t warez?

I don’t need to look at any news there. Everything there is pffft for me. Unless they show screenshots of first person view of hyperblaster, railgun, and nailgun.

Yeh that’s true, but the dudes at the ETQW community forums ask the questions that is exactly the same question in one of my 415 posts. I don’t know about my posting rate in the community forums, since there is no post count. I normally post joke stuff there, and rants about “duke nukem forever” and how a game is hyped and it does not deliver and such.

Do agree that the communityforum is overactive … do wonder why this forum has to suffer from that (less activity)

The communityforum has a lot of already answeredquestions, can imagine people want to “ask the developer themselves” and forget about searching the forum, interviews, etc … although it can be annoying :evil:

I think the site is doing ok even tho there is loads of stupid threads. (you just skip over them)
“Do you like gin” being the most stupid poll on there so far.
I know there has only been 134 people taken part in the poll so far but i think this thread: http://community.enemyterritory.com/forums/showthread.php?t=444
shows that alot of the users are young kids and it might be there first time at using a forum or they have come over from the BF games and thats what BF forums are like?
Some one needs to find that old funny vid showing them how to post lol

Its just a bit scary if these are the people we are going into the game with. A lot of them I have filed into the category of ‘BF2 Noobs’ but hopefully they play better than the do in the forums, I doubt it. One can hope, pray or plead. :twisted:

Also if someone from SD can answer: Is this the hype you want? Ten year old’s chanting ‘Gimme Gimme Gimme’? and driving possible older and more casual gamers away?

Or is it all out of your hands and its all Activision’s doing? Maybe iD?

Man, the discussions over there are really depresing me.
