Indeed. Its pretty clear that advertising revenue doesn’t have much to do with it.

This was probably caused by some low level pencil pusher not caring about the purchasing decision of a a few buyers caught up in this fiasco, who will now associate any game published by Activision with poor support. :rolleyes:

I doubt I will be able to play though, last night my pc crashed and won’t turn back on so I get to try and figure out whats wrong today and hopefully fix it soon.

Those were stats you could live with (channeling Phil Hartman as the anal retentive chef talking about how he packaged his trash)

Ah, that sucks but thanks for the info. And yeah, I always did like TheBestMedic, most in depth stats for this game I have seen.

I’ve noticed that really experienced players can simply use VOIP to convince people to slap themselves. I haven’t mastered the technique myself.

But whatya mean stats are not important??? I’d have to say, stats are an important aspect of any game. The devil is in the creation/execution of a useful, balanced, and not easily abused, system of stats. Much harder than it seems. Most implementations are simply a dump of raw data (more-or-less) with a few derived ratios thrown in.

New conspiracy theory:

BRINK is all about what happens when more and more “places” are going down and there’s only one safe spot, the Ark.
Same thing basically happening with many ETQW forumers coming to the SD forums aka ark now.

I smell amazing marketing. Wait for more important forums and “sites” to vanish until the Internet is made up from sd.com and everyone is coming here until there are way too many and there’s a forum civil war and BOOM.
The analogy is striking.

I just don’t get how that is supposed to make SD sell more copies, but we will see.

Actually someone from (1) got hold of Mojo and asked if we could play Sunday, so i’m trying to confirm with the group. Sat may work better and i believe whoever it was said thay could work too. One way or another we should be playing some time this weekend.

I’ll stop by Jerk’s forums to confirm or ask for Sat hopefully no later than tomorrow.
