Will clans get an email with negative answer after applying for Beta if they wasnt the one splashdamage wanted to attend in Beta?

Are the clans chosen yet?

Try to mail and see what they’ll answer.

Some have gotten a standard reply that there are enough candidates.

when i mailed them a week ago, i received this auto reply:

Thank you for your interest in the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Closed Beta Test.

If you are sending a new clan application, we regret to inform you that we have all the submissions that we need at this time.

My clan the Fatality -=FGC=- has gotten a reply back saying the same thing so , I do not think that there going to reply back anymore than thay have already , so thay already have the clans picked out already long time ago so we just have to wait it out alittle longer that’s all. :slight_smile:

What’s the guess, given the nature of the spam announcement, that half of the invited clans won’t be organized enough to run a scrim?

well hopefully the reliability, track record and current activity status of the clans applying was taken into account when picking?

I also hope it wasn’t just American clans chosen and there’s plenty of european clans scrimming right now :wink:

Until SD would make the list official, I’d say the clans in question can’t say they’re in.
At least, I haven’t seen anyone confirm they’re in the beta…

Well I guess there wont be replays for those who dont/dident get the beta. Would be a waste of time fron atvi, sending out 2000 “sorry no betaz” mail.

SD is the developer. Activision is the publisher, and is responsible for recruiting clans. You can verify this because the email address for the clan signups is @activision.com. Activision is processing the applications, obviously.

I was one of the lucky ones and managed to sign up our clan during the open window. Like many of you I am impatient and await a reply or news of some discription to know whether our clan have been accepted to beta test or not. In reality, if so many thousand apps were indeed received by Activision then it will take sometime for them to filter through them, prpobably more than the week it has been since the announcement.
