etpub 0.3.1 released

Forgive the double-post, just wanted to hit both parts of the community:

tjw has just posted our latest release for etpub. Read more about it here:

Some new features include:

  • ET 2.60 compatibility (Game will not crash on Radar, and kicks and bans now work again)
  • Greatly improved antilag/antiskip.
  • Stability upgrades for problematic maps
  • Better hitboxes
  • Double jump added
  • Added admin commands (!warn, !slap, !burn, etc…)

The complete feature list is even bigger!

Yeah, I put double jump in because several admins on large servers asked for it. We don’t use it, but some do and if we want to make the shrubbers happy, that’s part of our goal.

Aye, there should be no surprise that a shrub feature is implemented in a mod whose goal is to re-implement all the shrub features!

Heh…

I don’t get it. I know a lot of people love ETPro and its straightforward style of play, but there’s equally as big a community of people who really prefer a crazier and more fun-oriented style of play. Christ, if you don’t like Shrub, then don’t play it. It’s that simple. If you really have that much time on your hands to knock on someone’s endeavors, why not spend it improving your shot or making a mod or map yourself where you can promote your style of play.

It’s called disguised constructive opinion hidden in an adverse array of conjective simplistic mannarism. Not my fault you never seen it. Regurgitation means to bring something back up no? 1st time ive mentioned this im pretty sure. And it was related to something i intented to demean… no? Progression of on understated opinion? :confused: It’s my opinion the road to succession would be not using the double jump feature… which i now see is possible. How so did i hinder what now? I get my work put down all the time… i work in tech support.

BTW, sounds like you guys are making good progress on your mod. More options are always better. Will it be server side only?

One feature of Shrubmod that I always liked was the gib on use of censored word. Will that be in?
