We worked really hard last months, we planned to release this summer, but at the end we decided to take our time and keep testing the MOD, trying to make it as stable as possible.

So now here we are, we don’t aim to be the best but we did our best. For sure we put all our passion and dedication in this project.

To make a long story short, here you have:

from the download section you will be able to take the needed package, to avoid the size problem we decided to split the MOD into a MAIN PACK and more ADD-ON PACKS ( i.e. texture pack, theme pack and more to come ).

Note that the MOD can run properly just installing the MAIN PACK, but of course the custom textures will give the final touch.

  • ETNam 0.1.0 can run on Windows and Linux servers
  • ETNam 0.1.0 allows Windows / Linux / MAC clients.
  • ETNam 0.1.0 supports Omni-Bot 0.81.

I take it back.

Don’t know what was wrong at that time but I reinstalled ET and spent some more time on this mod today. It’s amazing. Runs smooth and is a lot of fun.

Yea hitboxes are quite hard, but you get used to it after some time :slight_smile:

(Though, I hear a lot of people complaining about hitboxes and wondering why they can’t hit anything - maybe a thing that should be altered in a later release?)

Description
This is a bitflag cvar that currently supports the following flags:
1 Lower the standing player’s body hitbox to the shoulders.
2 Lower the crouching player’s body hitbox to the shoulders.
4 Lower the wounded player’s body hitbox to a reasonable height.
8 Lower the prone player’s body hitbox to a reasonable height.
16 Lower the playdead player’s body hitbox to a reasonable height.
NOTE:
Set it to “0” to use the original hitboxes from ET.

Head hit-box position.
Available options are:
0 Original ET head hit-box position.
1 Server tracks the animations, the head hit-box will follow and match the player model exactly.
Set this to “0” to disable it.


So server admins may set “g_hitboxes 0” and “g_realHead 0” inside server.cfg if they want default hitboxes.

Very nice mod.
Quick screenshot review for too lazy people without spend time to download :wink:

  • Tripwire possible to stick on wall , very handy in doors etc
  • Damage Receive aura - like Call Of Duty


  • Hard to recognize friendly / foe team uniforms.
  • Kamikaze doesn’t explode when during execute player is killed. Working like martyrdom COD will be nice.
