ETFgame.comis now Launched!

ETF will be a port of the very popular mod for Quake 3 Arena called Q3F. It is based off the Team Fortress concept. ETF is powered by the Enemy Territory game by Splashdamage.

10 classes to choose from is only the start of what this game has to offer. Every class is unique in its own right from the Recon’s speed to the Minigunners Powerful minigun which is not so "miniâ€?. Several game types like CTF, Reverse CTF, Capture & Hold and Assault will be included in some of the hottest maps you have ever seen in a fortress game.

Please come back often as we will be updating the site with new content frequently. Also check out our forums.

Looks good from the shots, will check it out for sure. Never played Q3F but it was very popular so looking forward to this. Make sure there’s some good docs for the newbies :slight_smile:

Alpha7 Update

Today’s update is going to be short and to the point.

We are working on getting everything put together for Alpha7 and will be releasing it to the testers on Sunday/Monday. Alpha7 will only contain the 17 maps that will be in the initial release of ETF. This alpha release will also include the gameplay tweaks that our QA team has been working on over the past few weeks.

Alpha7 is a huge milestone for us because it is the most feature complete alpha we have had to date. There will also only be one more (Alpha8) alpha release after 7 before we reach our release candidate.

To show you how close this mod is to being released I would like you to look at the past alpha releases. There has only been a matter of a few weeks in-between each alpha release. Of course I will not give a release date at this point but if you look at the alpha releases you can see we are pretty close.

Next we will have some more media to post in the Friday Update so please keep your eye out for that.
