hello, do u guys use Enemy Territory Config Helper? (by Fire) I tried to use it but all the time I save a change to the cfg (binds and vstr) , run the game and exec the cfg, nothing happens… I got so tired of this that I tried to put the annoying reload script in a cfg (bind x “+reload; say ^4(((^1RELOADING GUN^4)));wait 10; say ^4(((^1OLD CLIP IS NOW OUT^4)));wait 10; say ^4(((^1NOW HOLDING NEW CLIP^4)));wait 10; say ^4(((^1INSERTING NEW CLIP INTO THE GUN^4)));wait 10; say ^4(((^1NEW CLIP INSERTED, NOW LOADING CLIP^4)));wait 10; say ^4((((((((^1GUN NOW RELOADED^4^7!!!))))))))” ) and that didn’t even work. Nothing works. Not even the most boring scrrpts. Can’t even put in a name toggle script FUC DAT…

Can u help me?

I cant help with the script I’m afraid (Bacons repsonse may have done that anyway!!), but I could give you a small tip:

Saying “Reload” on team chat isnt really necessary but I will forgive those that do it - hey its only fun. However, spam messages are quickly very irritating - having 6 messages come up in quick succession is only get on everyones nerves - especially if it means that your teammates have missed an important message 'cos yours has taken up the whole of the message section. Do everyone a favour - and just have “reloading…” or something simple. Good luck…

um… i posted that reload script in another thread as a joke to show my annoyance towards people that feel the need to overly announce that they’re reloading their gun… it was never meant to work.

i would learn to script by hand, Iffy’s website has a quick tutorial on it.
