ET Wrong checksum

Hi,

When my ET NQ1.1.1 server redirects clients with missing files to my website to download, the download will start but upon finishing it displays the error “pk3 obtained through download has wrong checksum, this likely means server configuration is broken”.

All the maps have been uploaded to the site from my own etmain folder and this happends to all the downloads regardless of the file being a missing map or soundpack.

Any idea’s?

You need to copy the files onto the redirection as they are EXACTLY on the server.

server needs to be set to transfer as binary not ascii iirc

Excellent, thanks alot guys.

The files all had about a 2 bytes difference is size so they we not exactly the same, changed to binary and every thing working fine.
