Et_Tank beta3 released !3!3!3!
I have one thing but it’s so easy to notice I’m sure you’ve already seen it…But just in case.
When on the bridge facing the axis side and standing behind the truck by ten feet or so there is a missing texture there in the floor behind the truck.
Also there’s a few things said by the TankKillers clan:
Im not so sure i like the addition to the CHR. I still think that there should be dual doors there and that they should be build/destroyable. The thing about tank was that it was very realistic, but the CHR bridge thing doesnt seem practical.
If there were two doors…one at the water and one beyond the Central Heating Room that could be built/destroyed would be better.

seeing errors in the console looking for sound files that don’t exist. Probably was overlooked in the compiling or misplaced I guess. I looked for these sound files and couldn’t when I opened the pk3 with pakscape. I got the list and here are the ones I am seeing Brew for you to pass on:

Those were the files that the console says couldn’t be found.

The above demo(which is nothin special- just for the author ta see it running w people) is from chicg’s Et shrub server - it was one of the first times it ran in rotation…i.e. lots a people learning wear to go.(inc. me learnin dat da switch’s are engy’s only)
Shitkicker has been runnin it a while, but he seems to have a lot a bandwidth unused…well like he said " thats more for him" ) He has a full Pipe- go get some hits off it…
he did mention that if it runs at full again he would open up some more players slots

ahh the 4 hour DenofLions, Tank, Breakout, POWescape, ect matches…
( ever notice in a 50-60 person server , that you can usually find the exact enemy ya looking for.)

I dont go to chigs’s et shrub server because you have to download a 60 mb large file 
well at 200-300KB/s, it downloads And installs in just a few minutes.
(but, if ya have dial up…)
And chicg’s found a way to make the campaign work with customs (take em apart and … rezip em together in one pk3)
The Auto download / Redirect system supplied with ET is awesome.

So i server with 60mb custom campaing sounds plain stupid to me !
The engy only switchs are “crush” traps, lol . If ya get in the way of the lever ya dead-which can be hard when ya under fire. maybe a button switch, or ???. right now they are set so an engy only has to touch the switch and it opens/closes, maybe have it so it actually has to be activated also. I like how the draw walkway works- almost like a trap if ya close it at right time. funny ta watch the allied squirm n die in the acid water.
Been playing it a bit at chigc w 60 people(ok alot) and have noticed that in et axis almost always lose. which is no big news
. The Flag… the whole axis team spawns at flag and is “miles” from tank, which leads to A Lot of 3-4 min games(which allied engy can run to tank fastest).
People spawn and run forward…(i.e. axis from flag forward)
maybe an east water entrance constuctable door along with the draw walkway(the draw walkway is fun to defend)- something to draw attention to the east entrance, or maybe have axis spawn at tank, or a few at each spawn, maybe an alarm(hmmm maybe not :P).
Most of it is people just not knowing the map, but when the map ends quick they have a hard time learning it.
I usually !restart map if its a 3-4 minute game recently and 5-6 axis of 30 may spawn back at tank but whole team stays at flag for most part. The command post is underneath the flag also, maybe a command post on each side?.. something ta keep the axis at the tank side.
We have had a few games that have gone an hour or so, mainly because if the axis can hold the allied off of blowing the Tank long enough to LOSE the flag-Making the axis spawn back across river, then there is plenty of defense at Tank.
Anyways Lots of Fun when there is 20-40 of 60 people that know the map. lots of fun battles.
