like in your qoute above, maybe something than can open the locked axis door in the water. )i.e. if axis have flag…allied are , well screweded, unless i missed another way ta go). Maybe a foot bridge, or a rope. i.e. another way for allied to get across.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the framerates are atrocious?
I remember playing tank in RTCW on my old setup and the framerate really was quite embaressing, but then again so did lots of other maps - I just had a really crap setup :slight_smile:

Anyway, now I get to play a beta of tank in ET and to be honest, even on my vastly better setup, the framerate is still almost as bad as I remember it - and the framerate dropping to 30fps in places was pretty darned awful.

badidea - what are you planning on doing to up the framerate? I’d hate for the map to become final with it’s current speeds - so wanna know if you need any advice on speeding it up, or whether you’ve got the matter well-in-hand? Cos really, it’s going to be pretty much unplayable at a skilled level as it stands - well, certainly the outside bits that make up probably 2/3 of the map will :frowning:

Just a few point’s :

I too fell that the door should be changed to stop camping axis at the forward bunker.
Also i have seen the fun X Y Z symbol as in gecko’s post (in the tunnel near the bridge) i only see it when pecking round the corner from the forward bunker roof???
Beside that " I LIKE IT! "

On a side note anyone know what textures Bad has used in the small tunnel leading to the docs room ???

Spookstah - all done.

hhhmmmmm (hymm) Doors has been removed.

Now we have something new:)

And Constructible Ladder (for Allied forces) in Old Pump Station.

camping axis at the forward bunker

  • Ladder - when constructed - you have alternate way to The bridge, main Gate…
  • removed doors - open way to the lower tunels, through new small bridge over the Deadly HOT Water. (25 Dmg per sec) ( if you are good player You can try to long jump…)

BUT - In botch cases you need a engeneer.
Ladder can be destroyed by Axis Eng and Cops only.
Brigde Can be turned OFF (is switchable - not destructable) only by Allied or Axis Engeneer.

X Y Z symbol was a missing gamemodel.

Hah… beta 2 was ready …was, bat I found BIG F… Caulk Wall in axis base.
I have removed Dam object - and replace with ASE object. -looks better and have half of previus polygons.
(ASE rox. ASE change my wold)

Also I found new light compile formula
(thx Sock - this is from your post)

Hymm… ok beta 2 was internal, private.
But I think Beta 3 would be Full public relase.
It will be come tomorrow. (I hope) - I have now: Fast-super-speed-dead-line commercial to do.

BadIdea,
I noticed you are using textures from RtCW and not changing the directories they are in. Marko did this as well and got crucified by the mapping community for it. I would suggest you fix this or else your map may get black-listed as well.

Map is retextured. But finally I decide to put some rtcw textures.
This is Tank from rtcw 70 % map is reconstructed,cleaned up etc.
But this is still Mp_tank and some textures are simple part of this map.
Easy : my vision.
This is my time and my work - non profit work- for other ppl.

If it makes happy any one of you- I can be on black list.
