ET suggestion for server browser

How about adding a list to put certain servers that you don’t like, and have the favorite thingy working?

-see what mod is used
-see mapcycle name or number of maps in current cycle (campaign)
-have the selected server while polling stay selected and in the same position on screen instead of the way it is now (the thoughest aiming part in ET is to select a server while the list keeps adding servers :bash: )

Use ASE instead of the in-game browser. The only thing it can’t do, of those requests so far listed, is tell you how many maps in a Campaign, which I have to say would be a god-send for me. I really would like some way of avoiding the 6-10 map campaign servers without having to join them first.

Yeah I use ASE as well, but that doesn’t mean the ingame browser couldn’t/shouldn’t be improved :moo:

  • have the ability to stop refreshing the list. Often the server I’m looking for comes up right away, and, well, see Sick Boy’s problem about “aiming” :slight_smile:

maybe just me, but the browser is buggy at times. my favorites lsit some times doesnt show anything but internet list shows all. also when

i try to add a new favorite, i have to add it several times and restart ET and add it again and again before it shows. hate that aiming thing ! cant click on the server because it refreshes

Heh, I think I have the trial version of it. After that, it’s back to shitty old pathfinder…

So don’t. It’s free for unlimited trial. The only difference you get for registering it (which only costs $10 I think) is unlimited buddies in your buddy list (trial is limited to 4), and the trial sometimes reports scanner overloaded and doesn’t refresh the lists at first time of asking.

When you consider all the things that ASE gives you compared to the games buil-in browser however, the $10 is extremely good value for money.
