ET Split files????

Are there any sites that have et in split files to download? I can’t download the damn thing b/c it would take 34hrs on my connection and with the way my phone rings in the morning that’s not possible

let me get this straight. you want to download the WolfET.exe, in sections?
or do you want maps?

34 hours = slower than 28.8k…
(You won’t have much fun if that’s the connection you’re gonna play on.)

I suggest you try sweRtcw in combination with a download manager capable of resuming FTP downloads.
Can’t promise it’ll work though.

Why don’t you ask one of your friends with a better connection, to just burn a cd?? or get cable/dsl if that’s possible

you can also use bearshare or some other gnutella client that supports resume(most of them do) and get it from gnutella

Why don’t u use a download agent like download accelerator, so you can RESUME your download?

I like FlashGet, though if you try it install as Trial, not the adware supported way. Has resume, if you right-click on other links to the same file it will download from both at same time into the one file, etc etc. most can do this but what I like flashget for is you can set it easily to reconnect if your connection drops, disconnect when download completed - or turn off the PC when download completed. Very useful for huge files 'cos you can leave it going and just go do something else.

Alternatively lots of download places will send you a CD of whatever you put on it e.g. www.3dgamers.com (and irrc www.rtcwfiles.com), and quite often if you ask a PC gaming mag to put something on the coverdisk they will do so.
