ET Shrub Question.

Ok I play on a server were they have latest version of Shrub on the latest patch.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the latest version of Shrub as an option to let u switch weapons e.g an Engineer could switch his Thomson for a Panzer if he found one on the ground.

I know Shrub lets you assume other classes in game by standing over them and pressing ur use/activate key to become that class but I want to know if there is any way u can make it so you can pick any weapon of the floor without assuming the class like I used to in some RTCW Shrub servers.

Yeah, RtCW Shrub did allow you to pick up other class weapons but none of the ET Shrub servers I’ve played do. Not to say that sometime down the road it won’t be added but as for now, no I haven’t found one.

I am running the latest beta version of shrub on my servers and this feature that he had in RTCW is not available yet.

That’s just a scary thought, having a field ops running around with a panzer. Or a field ops with a mortar, scary.
On the other hand, for CovOps it would make life a little eaiser, get a uni and grab the gun they just dropped, near perfect disguise.

I used to enjy this feature on RTCW. It was real fun killing a panzer dude and then stealing his weapon and killing some of his frineds and then quickl switching back to your SMG. They were fun days :smiley:

Picking up weapons was much better than then the new switch class thing.
