ET: server - Illegal instruction

Hey everone,

I’m now trying to launch my own Wolf ET server. I do have a 3GHz fdedicated server, so it could hold up to 40-50 players.
The first funny thing was that noone told me to keep ETpub config file less than 16KB . And it took me 4 hours to figure it out even with Google. :banghead: :disgust: :smiley:

Now another bug - server runs great, but after some time I get “Illegal Instruction” popup at the console window and all goes down. Adress : 004400cc00

Any tips greatly appreciated.

“illegal instruction” means, that the binary (or the mod :)) was compiled/optimized for some other CPU than yours.

Might be true for Linux
But I have a simple Win2003 version

methinks you’ve somehow borked the etpub install
