In rotation here …7map campaign …last map. 69.56.165.130:27961. .Will run it alone for a day or so for players to get to know it.
Allies fight axis zombies with final conflict being if they are stopped or become unstoppable

In the readme is 2 map cfgs for campaign. One is a 6 map resurrection only …the other is the 6 original maps with resurrection last.

If you download from the server the skins probably won’t download. Can get the z_resurrectionskins.zip skins only at above link also …or the ET_resurrection.zip includes mapp and skins.

Remember the skins will show on all maps …thats an ET thing so if you don’t want the to show up remove or move them somewhere else. If a server doesn’t have the skins on it…it won;t matter and you’ll only see the default skins

*Primary Objectives - 1. Destroy Main Gate power to gain access to Kreiger.
2. Steal Book of the Resurrection from Kreiger Mansion and make way to raft and escape to caves.

*Secondary Objectives - 1. Capture flag in mansion room to advance.
2. Destroy secondary door for access into lower mansion. “This is a secondary entrance but cannot use to exit.”
3. Destroy catacomb door for access into book room.

BACKGROUND:
The Nazi’s as we have heard are doing human experiments to create super soldiers. Recently however, its been discovered the Nazi’s are using the occult to further their mission for world dominance by performing passages from the book of the resurrection. …Rituals if you will.
A small allied force lead by LT. Joe Johnson was sent to gather more information on one, Alfred Kreiger, who is a Nazi Sympathizer and linked to practices in the occult. Information we received from Johnson has confirmed our suspicions. Kreiger has performed satanic rituals and has succeeded in resurrecting dead Nazi soldiers that feel no pain, no emotion, and have no mercy. They are the perfect killing machines. Kreiger has recently crossed over to the other side, suicide by his own creations. According to the book, Kreiger’s death will allow him to move between realms and help make the transformation of the soldiers complete. They can be destroyed at this time, but one passage from the book is left that will make them invincible and must be done when certain circumstances are present. Unfortunately we don’t know this information as we’ve lost contact with Johnson and his men.
This was Johnson’s last transmission:
<Begin Transmission> “…We have entered the belly of the beast where life and death are one… The book holds the power … The last passage needs to be performed for the gates of hell to be opened permanently… God help us… It must be performed when…” <End transmission>
No one from the group has been heard from since, but we do know from Johnson’s last message that the book is the key. Time is of the essence and you will be deployed immediately.
–I know your thinking this can’t be real. It seems unbelievable but in Johnson’s words…. “God help us” … if it’s true. –

MISSION:
To infiltrate Kreiger mansion by boat and make way through front gate or other means available before the axis zombie soldiers become invincible. Extract “The Book of the Resurrection” that’s located in the mausoleum on the mansion grounds. Exit through the main house back to front gate or use the Catacombs to basement and use Raft to escape to caves with the book.

Really great job! Nice soundwork!

Was a bit confused over the Main Gate though, on the CM it tells u it can be blowned, but when i walk up to it theres a locked door.

Also the CM needs some work i belive, it was really hard to acutally tell where u where in the map.

Some really nice sfx, the waterfall looks great.
Havent played it online yet, so i cant tell u about the playability.

Congrats - this and callfire were the maps that got me into your ‘style’ of mapping (IE vertical - you run along what you think is the ground and a gaping chasm opens up in front of you!).

3.5 Do not include a campaign file with the map. The server admin 9 times out of 10 will decide how the map is gonna be cycled. Having a campaign file with your map only adds confusion to the voting menu and makes it very cluttered. If you would like to add an example, tack it on to the readme file instead for those who don’t know how to do it.

I’d suggest stripping the campaign files out - the only conceivable reason for including a campaign file in a PK3 that I can think of is if the PK3 is more than 1 map intended to be a standalone campaign, and even then it’s questionable.

Not got time to look at the map, but here’s one map I don’t need to worry about production values on.

As for the command map being confusing, well, I can’t really comment not having seen it except to say that a 2D command map isn’t really the best way of navigating around RvirStyx’s maps - just goes to show why 3D into 2D doesn’t go, and why the official ET maps are so flat as a result…

Ahhh …Didn’t see that before and didn’t think about cluttering the menu tbh. I put them in there to be MR helper for admins to use or as a base…lol. I already released it and its in the pk3…so i’ll just know better next time. Ooops.

I know where you are coming from, I considered doing it myself, but TBH if a server admin can’t sort out his own campaign, then he’s not likely to be offering a decent server :wink:

We are testing it on our 34 player server. Reactions are mixed, some hate it but most adore it :slight_smile: I personally lub the spooky shit hehehe.

We will give it a few weeks to see how playability is. Good job :slight_smile:

Apart from being a bit too large, I ran it on a server and it consistently locked up on the client machines that were connected to the server. The server never locked, but the clients all did having to exit the game and reconnect. Not sure what the problem was that caused it. We are using the latest Wolf ET patch 1.02.

Well its running on ND80s with skins , on my server, ShitStorms, and quite a few others. All with new patch. No lockups and after players have learned it …they’ve commented it looked bigger than it is. Its really not that big once you learn it. Not sure what to tell you…probably something server side causing the lockups or they were downloading from the server and disconnected which leave a <map>.pk3.tmp behind. Oh well.

I am finding out more everyday and damn what a rush to get to the weed first :slight_smile: Some ppl reported to have seen Jesus though after their weed expedition ???!!!

Again this map rocks.

Hmm, yeah it is weird. It locked on all the systems here (we are playing on an internal lan - not the public internet). Like, I said the server never locked when it was running, but every single client at some point locked within 15 minutes of playing it. If there was some way of logging errors I would do that and send it to you. I just don’t know. :???:

I agree…my Oilrig map has a terrible command map because my map is so vertical as well…pretty hard to tell where you are when most of the action happens all in the middle of the map, albeit,5 levels down. LOL

Got another wierd error with the Den of Loins map as well. It won’t load at all. This is the error that I get:

G_Script_ScriptParse(), Error(line 12|: unknown action: wm_mapdescription.

Sounds like you’ve got a bad pk3 somewhere.

If memory serves me correctly, I believe “wm_mapdescription” was a scripting command in RtCW that is no longer used in ET. Sounds like whoever ported the map over from RtCW missed some stuff.
