and that proves what? did you read the mans words? it’s more or less in the can. they’re just polishing it, and hoping they don’t get sidelined by business politics and have to port it all over to a new engine or whatever. they want to finish it up and release it.

anyhoo, back on topic. being free has caused an infinite and seemingly insurmountable number of problems for ET. i happen to be glad QW won’t be, and i’m even glad if it’s expensive. banned GUIDs will sting more if cheaters have to mow more lawns to start cheating again.

caveat: i’m only glad it’s expensive IF there’s an MP demo. the next time i shell out $50 for a game and it sucks, i’m done. try it before you buy it.

If you’re talking about “pils” you’re probably right, the Belgian variants aren’t that amazing. The special beers however… Those are quite unique.

On topic: I hope we don’t get the SD guys to try out all sorts of Belgian beer, or the release date will be a bit later…

We got serious guidelines about what you are allowed to put in a beer in Germany which is water, wheat and leaven. Well at least we had until the European Union screwed the good things up, so it is (was) very sure you dont get horse piss in your mug in Germany. If you order a decent German brew that is.
