Is there some literature available about the quake wars?
Would be good to get some ideas for custom maps.
[et:qw]: literature about quake / the quake wars?
Good question null. I’ve asked myself the same.
My best find, yet, is the wikipedia.
(ops, not the last one, sorry).

I think null was asking more about stories/history to do with the series rather than info on the game itself, Strogg.
To further highjack Nullskillz thread, I want to briefly mention the whole post-release scene, with books like “Raising the Bar” and the like.
Actually, id/sd should contact David Hodgson today and ask if he can write the ”behind the scenes” book about the making of what became the world’s no. 1 game, ETQW. David is the guy that wrote Raising the Bar and he has also written or co-authored similar books about other games (e.g. The Godfather, Star Wars, The Legend of Zelda, Scarface, Medal of Honor and Conker) and gaming in general (”Paid to Play. An Insider’s Guide to Video Game Careers”).
Now, back to Nullskillz question: texts that give the backstory to ETQW.
