ET:QW @ Games Convention?

Just kidding I guess.

Don’t know Leipzig.

(Bongoboy) #22

Woahhhh, hold on, wait a minute. Leipzig has the oldest coffee house in Europe?
The Bach AND Mendelssohn museums?
AND the world’s largest freestanding Advent calendar?

This puts a whole different complexion on the matter.

Don’t forget Auerbachs Keller: you can be in a pub and at the same time you can do something for your education and walk in the footsteps of Goethe and Luther (in a figurative sense of course)!

Leipzig is also the meeting place of the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, where germanys youth (actually it became a pretty international event by now) meets once a year for 4 days. I think the citizens of Leibzig finally got used to this black invasion, and a city who can cope with having 10.000 strangely outfitted men and women taking over their parks and trams and streets, listening to something these creatures themself call music, wont at least have too many problems with beeing the host for a game convention, whos only real purpose it is to host all the latest training tools for us wannabe terrorists and mass murderers (at leasts thats what the politicians tell me I’ll become after playing all those killer-games)

Leipzig is also the winner of most sillilly named town 1986/87…

gamestar 09/2006 says about gc: “enemy territory: quake wars playable at activision”

and here’s something in german:

http://www.readmore.de/index.php?cont=comments&type=articles&id=1579&coverage=49&page=1

so any german here who tapes some gameplay and puts it online?

(nUllSkillZ) #27

It’s possible that only the trailers are shown, posters are exhibited etc.
Nowhere is written that the demolevel is playable.
But may be Activision distributes dog tags (hint  ).

(Joe999) #28

unless what gamestar wrote is scam: are you going? and do you have a cam?

speaking of posters: does anyone know where i can order one? they’re not available in the id shop.
