hey guys my ET was being gay last niight,you know hwen you enter a server and you msut d/l maps and it says teh time left on download. well my game just said estimating, skipped to next d/l said estimating and so on, in an infinite loop, i had to end task my et to get out of it. do you know why? i reinstalled my et and i still get hat problem a little, also i keep gettin a pb kick, am i missing an update or sumthin? (yes i do have it running)

sry, forogt alll about hte latest Et Pb update, i am doing it now… jsut wondering why it always says estimating and never actualyl d/ls the maps or files. i do have it set so it automatically d/ls files from server.

I had the same thing happen to me.
If you pull the console down (hit the ` key) then you will see that it is trying to download a file, failing and retrying. I ended up going to a different server.
Sometimes you can disconnect from the server and then reconnect and you will be ok ( type /reconnect in the console)

k, its no big problem, jsut wondering cause somethimes i end up spending 10-20 mintues looking for a server
