Hi,

after a presentation of ET in a german esports TV-show I’ve started a discussion in the forums of german community sides.
My idea:
To create something like PR for ET.
With a movie trailer, presentations etc…
They could be shown at LAN’s.

There are voices that say it’s too late.
Because all of the (german) top clans have disappeared.
Other’s say we should do it.
And some german communities don’t join the discussion at all.

As I see this as a community project that is not limited to germany I just want to inform you about the discussion.
And to ask you for your ideas, oppinion and suggestions.

dont speak german, so it makes no sence

so what do you want to make, an TV show about ET? something like Red vs Blue

a “competition” to make the best advert video for ET might be interesting.

basically no rules but guidelines are the idea is to attract all types of people new to ET, filesize a definate consideration… might have to think about disallowing copyrighted music or something?

been done before hasnt it? its not like any of these adverts are going to go onto the PC, people these days dont download stuff, they get the CD

there was me thinking people dont get cd’s anymore, they just download stuff.

I think you’d be allowed to use any music aslong as there’s no commercial gain involved (you dont make money off it). How about 20mb per min and a 2min max? Can easily get top quality at that ratio. It’s a good idea even just for this community, gives us something to do.

No I don’t want to make a TV show.
In german TV we have already a TV show that deals with computer games.
And last week there was a take about ET.
But the presentation wasn’t good at all.
Guests were two players of Junk52.
But the moderator asked too much questions.
So the game wasn’t shown too much.

And therefore my idea.
