Lovely though it is, I’m sure there’ll be some bugs arising from the new patch. Pleast stick 'em all in this thread, so the Tidy Gods will be happy.
ET Patch 2.6 Bugs here pliz
Running 2.60 on linux with shrubet and using the campaigncycle.cfg for rotation…server hangs at the end of the 3rd map (last map in first part of the 2 part campaign). Intermission loads just fine and everything, but after everyone clicks ready or time runs out…it hangs. This happens on custom rotations too with different maps.

i just saw “Fxed 10+ map Campaigns”. So i uppded a 20map campaign. ( well i know im wierd ^^). and the game returny ^3 Error: Campaing cycle contains too many maps . 20 maps ( sth. like that, if you want the exact exprssion i’ll post it )
umm i know 20 maps are many many many, but i just wanted to test it. so is there a new limit for the number of maps in one campiagncycle ?

When I try to run a map ET will crash. Tried w/o etpro etc. :S. HELP!

Found a etmain bug:
At warmup I was in the tank standing still infront of a unfinished bridge when a shuffle vote was called. The vote passed and somehow I got pushed/put into the tank and I couldn’t get out anymore. Finally I got crushed when the tank started moving again when the bridge got constructed.
So it seems a shuffle vote misplaces people inside a tank.

- when talking after the map is finished, not all lines are displayed, instead a blank line is shown… you can see everything in the console
- 1 headshot while sniping == kill, maybe it was just luck they were all wounded before
I know this problem is pre - 2.60, but anyway… I don’t think it’s been fixed (at least it’s not in the readme)…
Sometimes, when you enter a team when you have level four light weapons, your 2nd weapon bank is set to the single pistol, when you quite clearly have the ability to weild two.
This happens nearly all the time on shrub servers as you are sent to spectators instead of a team at the start of every map (if you have high enough xp). Although I know you have fixed this bug, but it doesn’t mean that it’s totally eradicated the weapon bank 2 selection problem.
Confirmed still present in 2.60
- Assassin and backstab knifedamage is used on wounded players
- ref commands doesn’t work in server console
- Round timer and respawn timer gone when cg_drawFireteamOverlay is set to 0
- Spectators can hear when a cvops spots a mine
- No skills displayed until weapon fired
- Client side score doesn’t get updated unless the weapon has been fired
- Level 4 skill messes up stats & award given in the debriefing
- Respawn timer is shown in spectator mode (look in cg_draw.c :: CG_DrawTimer)
- When using Panzer and SMG, it switches to grenades and not the SMG after you fire the panzer.
- No warmupdamage makes every func_explosive undamagable
- The following weapons aren’t usable under water: Medic revive, Adrenaline, Pliers (landmines and dynamite can be thrown, but not armed).
- Fireteam Delta’s icon has an all white alpha channel, which made it complete transparent ingame.
- Connecting people are listed as spectator in the scoreboard, but should be written as connecting.
- Mine flags blocking other mines from being spotted.
- Command map icons not showing on the correct level. When you fix this one please increase the max number of command maps from 4 to like 10+
- Compact scoreboard background should be used when names are compact. Including the debriefing screen.
Minor bugs/typos stilll present in 2.60
- Missing command completion for imready, say_buddy, setspawnpt, vsay, vsay_buddy, vsay_team, where
- stoprecord was missing from COMMANDS list
- XP and Medals are indented correctly on the playerstat screen
- Negative XP doesn’t show up on the playerstat dropdown.
- Removed restart from ref help text
- Added <pid> to remove command in ref help text
- ‘Competition settings loaded’ and ‘Public settings loaded’ infostrings has been moved from centerprint to popup messages.
- Output from various referee commands are screewing up the server console output and rcon output
- For maps like Stalingrad the pin text on the campaign map is placed wrong.
Semi-fixed in 2.60
- After getting level 4 light weapons or heavy weapons during a map people are switched to soldier with a SMG. The patch fixes this for every class but soldiers. They are still getting the SMG despite what their previous heavy weapon settings are. Update: According to a later post all classes are switched to their ‘first’ weapon.
Not sure if it is fixed in 2.60
- Medals not showing up when the scoreboard is shown compact.

Now I haven’t gotten around to fixing the following bugs, but they are still in 2.60
- On scoreboard at least one medals is shown, despite if there being room for it
- When people moves to intermission the fov, viewoffset, death status (?) etc. isn’t reset
- If a teammates wounds himself with a grenade or is teamkilled, the reviving medic doesn’t get the XP.
- Show spectators as connecting / downloading
- Reinforcement timer, isn’t shown in dual objective mode when there timelimit is up.
- Sorting the map/campaign list
- Players on rotating/moving vehicles doesn’t get their angles updated. Especially annoying when having deployed a MG42, mortar, sniper etc.
- Constructibles times out during server pauses
- Tank-MG overall hits, kill, deaths, headshots are not counted in the weaponstats
- Emplaced MG42 fires too low
- pmove_fixed results in jittery/uncontrollable movement when using an emplaced MG42, tank gun and perhaps other weapons like mobile MG42 and mortar.
These I haven’t gotten around to fixing, nor checked explicitly if they still exist in 2.60
- Connecting players get their pings changed from -1 to 999 after warmup, despite whether they are still connecting.
Our server locks up on every rotation at the end of Saberspeak. Also, is it possible for a server to autoupdate? We have no idea how the update got on our server.
/btw Bongoboy, thx for that autograph after our ET tourney at quakecon '04. That was awesome having you guys watch our match. You guys need to come again this year and take us up this time on the beer offer :-p

I don’t get the “Fight” sound when a SW round starts. (I do get the text on screen, but it’s easy to miss that if you play while intoxicated.

KoG, I have servers running both etmain and etpub and neither get stuck after Saberpeak (final) ends, FWIW.
[ul][li]Old one: The stats are not resetting correctly when a player doesnt connect before the match starts (i.e. during the warmup).
[/li][*]The “jump into the pillar” bug isn’t fixed too. This is possible on several maps, e.g. on goldrush near bank doors, caen near the flag etc.[/ul]
here’s my problem for ET2.6:
- Everytime my ET crash at RAILGUN Map… ONLY RAILGUN map. i cannot logon again to play(keep crashing), until the Map end.
- I NEED to reconfig all my buttons setting, and the game setting. ET2.6 don’t seems to be able to save all the configuration i set.
- I cannot play any of the ETPRO server.

Some weapon icons in the HUD appear blurry with higher picmip settings (e.g. the syringe or the adrenalin needle).
This one seems to be new in 2.60: When a mine is spotted then is triggered by nades etc. the icon on the command map doesnt disappear.
Huge bug: You forgot to include the source in the downloads section so mods can’t be patched. 
I don’t know, if it’s a bug, but why are there these cvars or cvar values? Fix them, or if they don’t have any function, delete them please. thx

Hi m8s, i dunno if this is the right spot but, my m8 is running an etpro server. He installed the patch on his 10map campaign server, however when we try to connect to his server it hangs in awaiting gamestate and then crashes. Then i can choose from send rapport or dont send rappot. This doesnt happen when he runs the old patch on the server. Can anyone help us?
