This has been covered.

When RTCW was ported most of the maps were cut in half, so it would need a total overhaul, something no company is going to take on. SD has moved onto working on a new game on the DooM 3 engine. ET receives no input from them anymore. So no, you can’t.

Besides, it’s MP only - and that would mean XBox Live only - it’s not like console gamers could compete in a fast-paced FPS without a mouse ;).

i runned et on my xbox[sic!]
i modded my xbox with xecuter 2 LPC, i installed evox, and installed linux [distribution GENTOOX]
i create converters 2x usb<->xbox and i connect my usb keyboard and mouse :slight_smile:
next, i downloaded ET version linux, and installed with no problems :stuck_out_tongue:
next, i changed details to low etc, i connect my xbox to internet, i choose play online and i succesfull play on xbox :)))))) :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: one thing - i have 7 FPS :frowning: kool thing :smiley:

console gamers only need to compete with each other so having a mouse does not come into. Honestly RTCW on xbox live is a laugh, everyone has a joypad so it’s an even playing field. No one gets an advantage from tweaking or haviong a better machine. try it you’ll be pleastantly suprised.

i played on pad on xbconnect[alternative for xboxlive] in RTCW, and its good… gameplay is not changed…
