Did some searching for maps on PCGameMods and found this little thing over there, I don’t even care to try it but surely it can’t be a good thing to have it downloadable there ? <link removed> :bash:

as you can see there is a TSO CLan Skin in there… is there some way of finding out who dealemo is and if he uses an other tag ingame?
this multihack raises some questions if he is a clan player…
edit: i have not downloaded this hack ti find out exactly what it is but just buy using the name “multihack” it should be deleted.
Nobody’s even sure if it’s a legitimate hack… I’m surprised it hasn’t already been deleted though.

Well, ok, I removed the link since that seems to be the general thought, though I do feel a discussion without providing evidence would be quite pointless and kind of more like “crying wolf” (I hope that expression is known regardless of country) and it would still be available as one of the topmost links on the main ET page on that site. But anyway, link removed 
Still not sure whether I think a post here would have a negative effect, since I don’t get the feeling that people here would use it but rather would benefit from knowing about it, and those who would actually use it would anyway get it from other forums, but I may be wrong here.
Well I personally don’t think that you posting that link really would do that much harm. If you were Lame enough to want to use a hack, then Google would find more up to date multihacks than that 
Hopefully everyone here knows about such stuff anyhow. I do recommend that people do at least try a hack, i.e. run a dedicted server on their own machine and see how they operate.
Maybe then, they might get an idea of how these things actually work, before spouting their mouths off when it comes to cheating debates.

Re-read the first line of my post. I.E. “if you are lame enought to want to use a hack”.
I was suggusting people check out hacks etc, so they can offer more of an informed opinion when it comes to debate. I wasn’t touching on the morel issues in that statement. Of course ceating/murder :eek2: is wrong. You don’t need to try either to know that.

It’s kind of shocking of what you can find on hacks for ET in about 30 mins, i have found a site using google with about every hack (more then enough anyway) for ET on there.
i tested a multihack on a private server with an accomplice. slightly useful when it comes to knowing how it works, and perhaps adds a touch of information when speccing dubious players.
totally irrelevant in terms of validating my opinion for “informed debate” on the problem of cheaters and cheating.
FWIW installing a hack to test offline even may be unwise - accidentally leaving some scrap of code you didnt notice may result in a detection and absolutely nobody will beleive your excuses.
