I think you need to assign those buttons to keyboard keys and bind those
(please correct me if I am wrong)

He/she is saying you need to bind the buttons to keyboard keys in the mouse drivers, not in ET.

In the mouse configuration s/ware you recieved with the Razerback, you can assign a keystroke to the buttons you want to use “in-game”.

Make sure the buttons you assign are not already in use by the game.

Then simply add the key bind to your autoecex.cfg.

I.E.

  1. Assign Button to keystroke using razerback s/ware. Mouse 4 assigned to the “K” key.
  2. In autoexec.cfg add bind k “to_whatever_action”

When you press mouse 4 the actual instruction to the PC is that the “K” key has been pressed.

Hi again,

Thanks for ur help but just one more question.
Where could i find that autoexec.cfg file (i cant find it) :???:

Thanks again:)

Hi

Depends on your Install Directory.

If you went for the default installation it will be in “C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain”

If memory serves, you dont automatically get a file calle “autoexec.cfg” altho the support for one is built in.

Look in your ETMAIN dir, if you dont have one right click and create a new TXT document. The Click File “save as”, when the next box appears make sure that you change the “SAVE TYPE AS” box from text document to “all files”.

Make the name of the file “AUTOEXEC.CFG” and click OK.

This will create an autoexec.cfg in your ETMAIN dir. Then simply edit it in Notepad with your binds
