Just make it script_mover and give it a health key the value being hp’s you want. You can do alot with script_mover. Experiment!

I don’t think the map needs anything to be changed. Please note that the size has about 8 MB so it’s not a smaller one. I’m having some public servers, one of them includes et_mor2 running with my etpro mapscript. It does some posivite upgrades, eliminates spawnkilling/camping, fix VIS issues. These are the most important facts you should care about - otherwise this is hard to play for objective/s and have fun :slight_smile:

I agree with Igloo, the map is almost perfect in my opinion. What my server has done is to make the tank invincible in the first part of the map, to make it easier for allies to escort it (and still the axis are able to hold their defences for sometimes half of the time)
The only changes I would make would be;
a) make it a night-time map.
b) add SK protection

now its a bit late to teel taht it wont need any changes… ive made so much things on there… surely u will like those… trying to give an advantage to allies on the 1st part of the map and to get the documents from lab

I don’t doubt that the changes aren’t great… they’re pretty cool and if they work well I will use the map @ my server. I can also write some propositions to the general gameplay after many observations in the past (soon). Also before the release or something I am able to provide a game server and players (et community) - 10 slots. Yeah not much, but it’s OK for testing bugs etc. :smiley: (there are some publics running so the machine is not able to run more ^^)

However there are methods to make spawnkill protections depending to the mapscript settings… not everyone always wants it… (setstate …)

Action at night - sounds great :>

never done any nigth map but it should be easy rite
nighttime = ambient 0 + toburuk sky and maybe decreasing the number of lights entities

yes, it is private, i was working with him to make the changes which made this map playable on medium server (max 20 slots) and i would agree this map needs to be updated by fixing some things not adding…

Here u go some screenies from our changes (we made 2 versions with timelimit mod):

version 1st got blowable side by allies and blocked whole up:

prevent from spawnkilling axis by allies going from side:

version 2nd:

  1. when tank is near bridge Igloo added a spawn with 5 pos for allies:

also reduced charge time for axis field ops, soldier with mortar to reduce number of fullholds

  1. When tank blows the gate it can be using (prevents from spawnkilling allies while using the tank by axis)
  2. When allies got cp, they got spawn with 4 pos:

  1. When axis got cp, they got spawn with 4 pos but only when allies is in the city:

It will make the game more playable and axis will have a chance to secure the obj

  1. Blocked the place up to the allies default spawn (prevents from spawnkilling and stupid dieing)

Igloo tried to block the side by adding doors here when the allies gets the spawn in the city to block axis camping:

but there were some errors and he has to remove it ;/

If u can share with us et_mor2 source we can made those competition and fun changes into a map and made some excellent version :), ofc Igloo is a mapper, im just testing it with him by applying the changes from our experience of playing this map on our server

Yes, the ideas couldn’t be well realised due to technical problems… however scripting is a really powerful method.

ETPro cloning does not give a possibility to rotate&clone the doors so if they are in an another angle than the thing you clone from it - both may be affected with vis bugs :frowning:

I would write more, but I’m busy now. My mapping abilities are quite good, I haven’t got time/possibility to make a map or modify the existing (source?) though. Maybe poor screenies from projects, nothing else. I’m always too detailed person - everything very accurate :stuck_out_tongue: Now I care to “save” even my servers and the game popularity… it’s hard to say what we would change there, but it will be for sure more playable…

I was just looking for a scipt to block off the roof tops, because on my clans server we have big troubles with people camping on the roofs

I don’t know which roofs you mean - please give some screenshots :slight_smile: You can disable entering to the roof by a hexahedron clip [etpro] as well.
