ET Make my Crazy!!

Hi…

I did play ET for weeks in Linux, But suddenly yesterday when i try to load the game i had the next error message…

Received signal 4, exiting…
Shutdown tty console

And i can’t play anymore…

I did read many post searching a solution, but i found nothing… there are many “Signal 11, exiting…” But not “Signal 4”… i think signal 11 it’s for video trouble, about GL… but what about Signal 4…??

Anybody Help Me??

I dont know much 'bout linux, but what distro are you using?

Signal 4 is an Illegal Instruction signal. It’s possible that it’s caused by a bad .pk3 file that you might have downloaded (a new map or campaign file, for instance). Clear your etmain directory of all downloaded pk3 files, leaving only the pk3s that came with the orginal ET installation. Then try again.
