Man, I was playing the WT mod for wolfenstein today and it totally blew me away. I didn’t care for the gameplay too much, but the skinning and the sounds were superb. The game ran like water.
If ET could have skins and sounds as nice as that, it would be so fricken cool. Also, I think the SMGs need to be normalized like they were in vanilla wolf, it was just better that way.
I’m downloading it now, I dont’ have high expectations of it though.
Don’t forget WT is at 1.0, they’ve gone through a lot of testing and listening to suggestions from the community. ET isn’t at final release stage, and I believe we’ll see plenty of improvements from Splash Damage, making a excellent game even more god like. 
And stop it about the sounds, I’m more pissed off from the complaining, than hearing “Medic” a thousand times a day. We have many weeks (or months) to go, and I see like 20 sounds posts a day. SP members will be insane by the end of the test. 
My biggest concern is netcode, but honestly other than that, all this game needs is good skins and sounds!!
I know those aren’t important to gameplay, but it is not exactly a super difficult thing to improve on, and if they did it would make a world of difference in appeal.
Yes, I can’t complain since RTCW was original bad on 56k, (nothing godly like the netcode for SOF2 for 56k) and ET is even worse on 56k than Wof, but it’s still fun. I managed to play on a 32 map server on a local server. And I still got highest fragger. makes lub to panzer.
ya jus keep ya distance from me daalig panzas arnt a fav of mine, what i like about the skins in WT is the seprate model for the flamer, i would like too see the flamer model inET like the sp flamer bad guys they looked soo cool, and what about the models from SP like the guys from snow levels would look great on a snow map, and the woodland guys.

um i played the test , and all i can hate are the sounds, they suck…and voice chats aweful…otherwise, et you rock!
