Hello everyone!I have P4 2 .4GHZ 512 DDR , 60 GB hdd, FX5700 ultra , ABIT SR7-8X(SiS) and my FPS is good in buildings and in the rooms but in outside it is ver often 30, which is awful for my system.Someone told me to use OPEN Gl and change “ini” but i dunno what is it.BTW i have got all the newest drivers …

Does seem low fps for your system, what resolution are u running ET at?
I myself seem to have hell of alot of shitty FPS recently.
Before hand I was playing on a GF4 128mb Ti4800SE and with the box spec it was in I could still maintain a constant 125fps full whack everything @ 1024x768 res etc…
Now, running a;[ul][li]AMD K7 @ 2GHZ
[/li][li]1GB DualDDR Ram
[/li][li]200 and 80GB HD
[/li][li] GF 128MB FX5200[/ul]

Now, even with this lot I should be able to maintain a constant 125 no probs at least with everything at its lowest but infact I struggle to hit anything about 100 inside buildings and corridors and such and struggle to hit over 30 outside on any map, not just Radar and Railgun tho obv these 2 are the worst…
Since i’ve been tweaking configs and such since QW ofc I have tried nearly every setting and setup under the fkin sun doing any and everything that may possibly be able to give me an extra 1 fps and still no hope.
I have tried 5 different driver sets and around 50 different configs for each set… 3 different versions of DX and even using the onboard 128mb Nf2 Gfx chip which performs just as well as the bloody card. Is it just the case that the FX5200 is a shit card or is something just fucked up?
And I swear if any directs me to the config depot… 
the fx5200 is just a shite card mate, I borrowed a mate of mines fx5200 and lost about 30fps compared to my ti4600.
He tried to sell it to me too lol
For applications that don’t take advantage of DX9-level features, the fx5200 is crap. You’d be better off putting your TI4800 back in to play ET…

Problem is the Ti4800 = in another comp I cant take out basically… and the one with the FX is my own.
Just gonna sell the card back to shop for 50 and buy another Ti4800 me thinks.

err piggy the GF4 Ti4800SE 128MB is a much much much better card than the FX5200 128MB card. :eek:
This card is £162 http://www.cclcomputers.biz/specs/VGA/sapphire/VGAATIRAD98PRO/spec.htm and is tons better than both.
