depending when/where you look, ET is the biggest non-Valve shooter. in any case, it’s still got a solid spot among the top 10 FPS games out there. no worries :slight_smile:

There is an admission fee of 5 euros per player and thats not an argument why you should not sign up. 5 euros is nothing so I dont wanna hear anything bout the fee. The worlds top ten in CS have signed up - were is the ET EC teams and the teams from OC and Wl ?

common! sign up, play the tournament and support our competetive scene! If this tourney fails in signups we will never have the chance of getting sponsors like Shuttle and Sennheizer again and most likely events like Quakecon wont even think of having ET…

Dying? Why not? The league admins at clanbase are doing their best with the new config released two days ago.

XP rewards system is now removed. In lamens terms, you will be rewarded with XP - but you will not advance in any of the skills such as Battle Sense or Medic.

I dont care about the element of the “competitive scene” who need prizes, or me to pay for them.

I dont have any problem with the tournament or anyone who wants to sign up, great, hope you have lots of fun etc. I just find it strange to see this attitude like people owe it to the scene to “do their duty” and stump up.

DG: as i said “…support our competetive scene…” but if your not into comp play imo this is not something for you but those that plays comp play should really sign up and have some fun. so what if u have to play 5 euros to compete? M8A will pay the fee, we will play, we wont win but we will have fun participating in this tourney.

I don’t quite think this is true.

ET is a free game. If RtCW2 gets really crappy reviews then not many people will be willing to spend money to play it. Of course you’ll have the old RtCW vets playing it, but the hardcore-ET fanbase might not play an RtCW2.
