ET custom & standard maps

Ok, here is the deal.

We have 1 private clan server with like 9 custom maps.
But our map download directly from the server is really bad (8kb/s max)
And we don’t have enough webspace yet to do it with URL.
All our members have the 9 custom maps, no problems there.

But when you invite somebody on the server, and you only want to play the standard maps.
Then he still has to download all the custom maps. =(

Can’t I shut this down?? so they only download the map we are playing or something like that.
I don’t want to remove the custom maps everytime we have a try-out, training or war.

Please help.

Do a search in the ETPro forums. It was discussed there several times AFAIK.

well if he only will play standard maps why not simple put allowdownload to 0…

well, because we also have a few map rotation files on the server this won’t work. but thnx anyway
