ET Crashing after downloading new map.

I’m having a strange problem with ET. If I connect to a server and that server sends me a map, my system will bomb out of ET when it goes to load that map for the first time. If I restart ET and go back to the same server it loads fine. Any Ideas?

Try to delete all unnecessary .pk3 from your etmain (old campaign files) that might help but it’s no definite solution, if ET crashed just restart it and rejoin the server.

Crashing after downloads is a bug in ET. Nothing you can do about it, except rejoin, or download the maps outside of the game.

I have exactly the same problems. It is, as stated above, a bug.
I guess we will have to learn to live with it.

yeah…I run into that problem all the time too…but …for the many hours of pure pleaser killing…it makes up for it

nope, it requires an update of the ET program itself, wich bani’s team hasnt got the source for.
