ET Crashes and there is an .exe error

i installed and patched et and when i started it up first time i clicked to choose my nickname and the game froze.everytime i try to set my nickname which i need the game freezes

PLZZZ HELP!!

Probably want to try the usual first:

  • Close other running programs
  • Latest video drivers
  • Latest sound drivers
  • Latest Motherboard drivers
  • Check free disk space (Windows is claustrophobic)
  • Updated Virus scan
  • Scan disk
  • Uninstall & Re-Install ET
    Any or all of those tends to fix most problems.
