Can you load a map when you’re offline? I’ve tried console commands and can’t find any that work. I think my son would like to play railgun offline. Thanks for any help.

Or do you want to run around on your own?
If you want to run around on your own:
Start ET, choose “Host Game” from “Main Menu”, choose the map and “Start Server”.

Every time I come to a forum for help I end up feeling like an idiot every time I leave. lol I just wanted to run around on my own. Thanks for the help.

to run a non starting campaign map you have to enter
g_gametype 2
devmap <whatever>

man i know what i’m doing and how you guys say stuff is confusing me…
in all this is what you type when your into et:
to open console press ~ (while in enemy territory start menu, screen after the introduction) it’s above tab and beside 1
type in
sv_pure 0
press enter
type in
g_gametype 2
press enter
type in
/map oasis
NOTE* you can go to whatever map you have downloaded by simply putting the the name of the map you would like to play on
examples include
/map fueldump
/map oasis
/map baserace
ect. ect. ect.

Once in you can press “Escape”, click “Referee” and select “Map” to try out a different map.
The other people’s suggestions are only offering a much more complicated way to do something which is very straightforward if you follow nUllSkillZ’s method.

Thanks guys, working great. The console commands was what I was looking for. I couldn’t find them any where else. I didn’t know about devmap, that’s killer.
