ET - Command Map Problem

Sorry if this has come up anywhere else, I did try to do a search but kept coming up Network Busy so assume theres a problem!

My problem is that my command map no longer has player positions (only names of those in the same fireteam appear on the map) and the flags for spawns no longer appear also… :banghead:

This has happened since I did a re-format and re-install of windows after my pc crashed out… :angry:

Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong or if Ive lost a file somewhere? :???:

the ET installation was on a seperate hard drive which was untouched… I just plonk a shortcut on my new desktop… or join from x-fire…

I’ve heard and read that new vid drivers (for nvida) can cause this problem.

I seem to have the same problem - did you install the latest nvidia drivers perhaps? I did :???:
edit: And my video-in seems to have broken as well :frowning:

Yeah I have… after the fresh install I got the latest drivers from Nvidia…

Think I might have an older driver on my other hard drive somehwere… maybe I’ll try and install that instead and see what happens! :banana:

yes, many people have reported that this goes away if you roll back the drives.

hopefully its been reported to nvida so they can fix it for next version. seems such a weird bug, for an older game

maybe, maybe not… it’s only happening in etpro afaik. would be nice if the next nvidia release just fixed it, if not…then etproteam might have to look into the problem themselves.
