Popularity of CS just shows how many people still have ghetto comps that can’t even run Quake3 engine.

Hmm, with these pics I’ve wanted to show the rising popularity of ET.
More players (at this moment) as COD or Bettlefield1942.

And something to think about:
CS started as free available game (exactly as mod for half life) some years ago.

But CS received much needed updates from the developers, ET has received little-to-no updates from the developers (bani and team do not count).

They do count. If it weren’t for the etpro mod, ET would not be played in competition, and no competition means no servers to play on, because 90% are clanservers.

Very rarely do developers fulfill the needs for competition. Where would RTCW and Quake 3 be (have been) without OSP?
