Have you downloaded the drivers for your grapics card?

(Tyrlop) #3

yea, and i got alot of other 3D games that works totaly fine. i think the problem maybe is in the .so file? i dunno

No, the SO file isn’t found in your home directory so it gets loaded from the install directory. That part is OK.

The black screen does sound like a driver/configuration issue.

(Tyrlop) #5

yea, i tried to install some new driver now, but now my driver is fucked up.

(Tyrlop) #6

still no one figured out how to fix the grafic card driver thing??? i use nvidia

(Snoofer) #7

try to find help in an unbunto forum or a mailing list, especially when u’ve messed up your driver their is more knowledge and brainpower willing to help you

Hey, I’m wondering if Windows servers can also be accessed by the Linux version of ET WOlfenstien.

(nUllSkillZ) #9

Yes.

(Alexey) #10

I think this is incorrect settings in XOrg server. May i see you /etc/X11/xorg.conf file?
If you monitor is LCD not select 74Hz or 76Hz standart monitor. Select only 60Hz monitor. Some games in linux system non correct work with 76 monitor - example SuperTux.
May be this incorrect settings in etconfig.cfg - configuration file ET(your videocart may be unsupported someone settings). Try delete /home/adrian/.etwolf directory. Open KDE konqueror home on your desktop, select menu View->Show hidden files find .etwolf directory and delete this. Your GUID also be deleted.
If you change videocard always delete .etwolf directory, else you not may be change resolution display and see artefacts.[/b]
