ET 2.55+ Compatibility patch problem

Hey, Im not sure if this is supposed happen or not but my server isnt showing up on 2.56 or 2.6b server lists after installing the backwards compatibility patch (some call it multipatch), but it does show up on 2.55 and also works when you connect from any other version by typing the server IP in console (/connect IP)

If the server doesnt actually show up in other versions then its not exactly that useful to me. So any idea how to fix it or is it the way its supposed to be?

I have the “master servers to report to” in my server config so thats certainly not the problem.

afaik, the server will always show as 2.55

Yes I think you are right it only shows up in 2.55… The reason I was confused is because a “friend” of mine has a server which appears in ALL versions of the game, its his own script and he isnt willing to share it :confused:
