ESL.eu Section for Extraction is open!

(zeroooo) #1

Hey Guys!

im glad to see that the ESL opened up a section for Extraction! i thought i start a new thread, that the information reaches everyone of us. Actually many of you pushed the thread in the ESL-Forums - thank you!

now we got an EU-Section for Extraction
there is also a Player Listing and a Clan Listing.

would be great if you guys sign up there!
and btw: you can also set Extraction in your profile at ā€œgames you are waiting forā€ and ā€œgames you play at the momentā€ - for those who wanna do that

seems like the competetive side of our game made a step forward!

stay tuned!

Think BiAtch is in!

Funny to see such threads from a person who crapped on devs and the game like hell and always meant to leave the game.
Now after SD has changed the game to the worse, you show up again and it is really hard to take you seriously zero.

i dont like the game, im just here because of the competetive side and to play with my mates, changes nothing on the fact that the game, in my opinion, is a mess! (at least on public)

comp is different, it could be …mhhhh alright… for comp, cant say much things about the ā€œreal sideā€ of comp cause there is nearly no opportunity to test it out (against even opponents)

and i prefer playing this game instead of playing games which are more worse like cod bf or cs.go

i just miss the old times of QW from 2007/2008… many teams, many competitions…

ashog, i dont care about the game, aslong it is nearly playable in competition, its okay for me, im here cause of playing with my team! (no matter which game)

(n4ts) #8

I’ll definitely gonna compete in the ESL, once my team has a full roster

(Finko) #9

I think we too, ex-etqw.ru community can make at least 2 teams, but i still duno how we gona play with NA/EU guys after CBT relaese.

to SD:

maybe it would be nice to have somebody from the ESL in here that they can get a first look of the game?

I know people in ESL who have been playing the game already.

Why are you pushing this so much? The game is in beta, it’ll make its way to ESL if it’s worthy (or if SD/Nexon pay enough money - hi ShootMania), just like other games.

I hope xt’s competitive future isnt focused on esl tbh^^ First there has to be a certain amount of advertisment, and getting xT in people’s perspective.

the only chance I see being xT successful if there is an own competitive environment. To rely on ā€œeslā€ or other leagues is a joke!
Since they dont care about a game, they only worry about a game from time point A to point B to receive some money for tournaments. When money is gone NEXT GAME PLEASE. not to mention the admins…

because its important to me, there were also closed beta cups in etqw if i remember right… so…

i know its up to SD / nexon how much money they want to spend for prizes, better start pushing it too early than too late…

just want to kick things off for the competetive side…

in some points i agree with tastic,

i just wanna play comp :’(

Then push it everywhere and not just on ESL.

where else?

CB and 4pl`? esea? =D

The best solution imo would be an own comp. system.

I think ESL/CB/4P whatever are historic dinosaurs and wont exist in their current form for more years. Playing comp has to be very comfy for the majority of players to be attractive and this is were League of Legends ist the best example.

The ESL doesnt really attract new players and things like premium, trusted player etc. are just again unnecessary for the majority of players.

Please forget about ā€œLook for a Team, register for the ESL, enter your GAME ID, sign up for XonX, get premium/trustedā€. Thats not how it works anymore.

This is also why I think that Nexon is not bad at all for Extraction, because im sure they will think not in the same but in a very similar way. Why would u pay companies like the ESL, when u can do it better on your own and finally get more revenues from the attraction tournaments have to players?

I dont want to overact, but we are currently in a situation where competitive gaming has changed and will change drastic and the current solution which is ā€œESL Versusā€ doesnt statisfy me.

Which kid doesn’t love dinosaurs?

ESL has also flaws for sure, but which league is perfect?

Apart from ā€œget premium/trustedā€ that’s exactly how it works. I don’t know how LoL is doing it, but I can’t imagine they are much different.
Not sure what you exactly mean, do you think there are too many restrictions or what’s the point?

The question is are they willing to spend extra time on organising etc. or leave this to more experienced companies like the ESL.

The only thing that changed for me in comp is the lack of FPS games. And ESL is not all about ā€œVersusā€!
