when i try to connect to my local server, and after it loads the map, as im going to enter the game, it disconnects saying: server disconnected for unknown reason…i used to connect before, but now i cant and as its the only local server, its only where i can play with low pings…any way how to solve it :frowning: ?

there was a bug in rtcw punkbuster where u coul dget that message if PB kicked you for extended ascii characters in your name, so make sure your name is plain “vizor” or something, and not “l33t”.

well tnx for the reply…at last somebody replied :slight_smile: um my nick is [iD]viZor…and d] and Zor are in read with the usual colour codes…and if im not mistaken pb is off on this particular server…dunno tbh, i entered yesterday with the same nick but today it started giving me this annoyinhg thing :frowning:
