Error: CL_ParsePacketEntities

The latest bit of weirdness with this game. I get this error message every time now,
Game crashes, “ET is experienceing a problem”. No shit. I hope to hell RTCW2 is a lot more stable. Any idea how to fix this short of clean reload?

Tried a clean reload of ET, plus patch 1.02. NFG. Still gives the “ParsePacket” message. WTF???

Still no good. Now the error cycles back and forth between “ParsePacketEntity” and “Max_Configstring”. I don’t get it. I have made no changes to my setup, internet setting, nothing. Any ideas to help out a fellow ET addict?
