er - uh - i cant move with my mouse anymore?..
i think “set cl_freelook 1” is the setting to use, yes?
(yeah i put it in autoexec.cfg)
anytime i start a server everything is fine; anytime a join a server no movie with mousie… :???:
am i missing sumptin’?
cl_freelook 1 is to look around with the mouse
if you want the mouse to actually move the player instead then try 0 i think?
note some servers require cl_freelook to be 1 (using either PB restrictions, which will require you to change it, or using ETPro’s restrictions which will change it for you and leave a cvarbackup file to help you change them back later) due to perceived exploits.
well with cl_freelook 0 i was able to look around horizontally but not up and down, with cl_freelook 1 i was able to look in any direction -
i use mb 1 for forward, mb 2 is backward, and i “steer” with the mouse… now anytime i join a server i can walk forward and backwards and strafe left and right but i cannot turn or look ! Noone else moves with the mouse but me? 
just an fyi in case anyone else runs into this problem: i deleted etconfig.cfg and now everything works fine -
